I was raised on a farm in Russia, Ohio by my parents Urban and Thelma Schulze. I had 9 brothers and sisters. I got into the insurance business in 1981 and gravitated to the senior market fairly fast. I enjoy working with seniors because they often remind me of my own parents.

I have been married to my wife Maria since 1982. We have 3 children and 3 grandchildren at this point. Most of my non-business time is spent with my family.

I became an independent insurance agent after just a few years of being a captive agent with the Ohio Farmer. I love being an independent agent so I can search for the best products with multiple sources, instead of just one company.
